Donna`s Place in Stone Harbor

People were mean and food was overpriced. Any other food place is better in my opinion than donnas.

Donna's is a great hit with everyone. They have donuts and pastries for breakfast. Hoagies and other sandwiches for lunch. Kids options are pretty expensive so maybe considering sharing something. But remember to grab some soft service ice cream with sprinkles. The kids love it.

The other bad reviews of this place were on point. We should have listened to them so I'll take the blame for that part...I've never sent back a plate before- but the food was so terrible that I didn't even want to send it back, I just wanted to run from it. After sending it back (not asking for something else) the manager tried to ask "how much of it did you eat?" Well let's see- I put one bite in my mouth and then spit it out. I Almost lost my cool but for the sake of those poor waitresses who know the food sucks but can't do anything about it, I kept from storming so that she at least got her tip (it's not her fault the food is horrible and that the manager couldn't care less about decent customer service)

The meal was tasteless. Minimal service. Very expensive.

I got food poisoning and was sick as a dog for 2 weeks.

This used to be one of my favorite shore dinners. It has steadily gone downhill over the last few years. My last and perhaps final meal there was the broiled seafood platter. Not one thing was seasoned. When eating seafood, it's sad that the corn on the cob was the best thing on the plate. Very disappointed.

Maryland crab cakes are good but the lobster roll is a joke. 18.00 and it is out of a can.

Still the best crab cakes at the shore. They use an old Philadelphia recipe that brings me back to my childhood. Whether you have them as a sandwich on a soft brioche bun or as a salad you cannot go wrong.The bakery in the morning is a great meeting place with fresh pastries and coffee.FYI, if you get here close to sunset walk across to the bay and enjoy the beautiful view. This place is a quiet gem.

I've only bought fresh seafood from the shop to BBQ and it was awesome. I'm sure the restaurant wd be great too. Homely and classic.

Im honestly not sure how i have never reviewed Donnas as ive had a cheesesteak there every year for the past 25+ years. Each time, it never disappoints. Its a popular destination for ice cream as well so get the families on your bikes!! The seafood is extremely good and reasonably priced. Breakfast is topnotch as well. Doughnuts and coffee are a good start to your day.

Just average tasting food.

First time visiting. Ordered the seafood combo when it was brought to the table it looked over cooked, but I decided I would try it big mistake. It was inedible. Totally over cooked and what was supposed to be a crab cake was a pie of over cooked batter on the outside and mush on the inside. I was there with a party of ten all complained about the food. Don't waste your time and money find a better place.

Great Food, Great Service from Breakfast to Dinner! Three visits to this place over the Memorial Day Weekend . Had the best Cream Filled Doughnut ever! The breakfast sandwich was just as amazing. Bacon Egg and Cheese on a fresh baked butter Croissant. Decided to try dinner, had the Maryland Crab cake dinner. YUM! My husband had Steamers and the Broiled Seafood Combination dinner his dinner. YUM. Food and Service was great. So I had to go for one last trip. Went for the Ice Cream treat to end the weekend. I have to say the Soft Serve Ice Cream was the most delicious soft serve I have ever eaten. Can't wait to return again this summer....

Honestly this was the worst dining experience I have ever had at the beach. When I stopped in, there was some sort of plumbing issue in the bathrooms that made the restaurant smell like sewage. Early bird special was anything but special... far from fresh seafood served on foam trays. You couldn't pay me to eat here again... I'd be too afraid of getting food poisoning!

Quaint little place to eat, outside dining right now. I love fresh seafood and this place didn't disappoint. Large portions, yummmm.

I can't believe how bad this place is, especially since no entrees are under $20. The food would be bad if it cost half as much. Had the broiled combination, and I can see why it's expensive because it is a lot of food. Unfortunately it is all poorly cooked, bland and soggy. If you're a halfway competent home cook who can read a recipe you'll do a better job yourself.

Liked the breakfast but seafood was not the best. Loved the shrimp.

Great place! Had coffee and a breakfast sandwich here with the family this morning and it was delicious !

The Broiled Combo was great! Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Donnas also makes some tasty fried chicken too.

Painfully bland food. Zero flavour, no taste, and resulted in $54 worth of mediocrity. We ordered mussels with garlic oil pasta and the broiled seafood platter and wended up throwing everything away after just a few bites. At least our Golden Retriever enjoyed it.Our dinner ended up being left over pizza from Nemo's.07/10/2016 was the date we ate.

Great morning pastries we had a cronut, a cream filled donut, coffee cake and blueberries muffin, my husband and I split all and enjoyed everyone! So glad we stop there on our way out of stone harbor!

Some of the best soft serve around, excellent other foods, and usually not crowded!

Ordered a wide variety of seafood dishes for 6 people. Pick up was ready as stated within 30 minutes. The service was great and the food was excellent. I recommend Donna' s and hope we can try it again next year.

Great place to go for picking up so.e fresh fish. The restaurant is also relaxing to stop by and have a nice meal for times when cooking is not in the cards! Outdoor casual dining at the beach is always a good plan.

Perfect. I ordered seafood and crab cakes for 20 people. my mom grew up in philly and started going to the shore in the 1930's and she loved the crab cakes but it was all wonderful.. I scored points with everyone. If it was expensive I don't care because it was perfect... I also walked in the morning to get the sticky buns.. mom loved them also.. we all hope to be back in two yesrs.

Family has been coming to this place for decades and the quality here has been more than consistent.

Overpriced for small flavorless portions. Won’t be going back here.
